The Backbone Of Malaysia’s Water Supply
Clean water reaches homes, businesses, and industries across Malaysia through networks of transmission mains, distribution pipelines, pump stations, and balancing reservoirs — infrastructure engineered to operate reliably for decades.
Project scope typically spans large-diameter pipeline installation, river crossings, pump station construction, and reservoir works, coordinated closely with water authorities and consultants from planning through commissioning.
- Scope Of Work
Delivering Water Supply Systems End To End
Large-diameter steel and MSCL pipelines are installed across long distances, including river crossings using steel truss structures and pipe-jacking methods where open-cut excavation isn’t possible.
Pipeline networks connecting treatment plants and reservoirs to end users are constructed with attention to hydraulic performance, valve placement, and future maintenance access.
Pump stations and elevated or ground-level reservoirs are built to reinforced concrete standards, complete with mechanical and electrical fit-out and full system testing.
- Scope Details
What This Work Involves
Pipeline Supply & Installation
Supply, laying, testing, and commissioning of MSCL and mild steel pipelines across varying diameters and terrain conditions.
River & Road Crossings
Steel truss structures and pipe-jacking methods are used to install pipelines beneath rivers, roads, and existing utilities.
Pump Station Construction
Civil works, mechanical installation, and electrical fit-out are delivered for pump stations, including motor control centres.
Reservoir Construction
Reinforced concrete elevated and ground reservoirs are built to required capacity, complete with fencing and site drainage.
Valve & Chamber Installation
Installation of butterfly valves, sluice valves, air valves, and chambers takes place at key points along the pipeline network.
Testing & Commissioning
Full pressure testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning are completed before handover to the relevant water authority.
