Project Description
Body: This package involved installation of a main distribution pipeline measuring 800mm in diameter, spanning approximately 7.66km from Bukit Batu to Pengkalan Jaya, including river crossing structures and pipe-jacking works at multiple locations to ensure efficient and uninterrupted water distribution.
Scope Of Work
- Supply and installation of 800mm diameter MSCL pipeline, approximately 7.66km, from Bukit Batu to Pengkalan Jaya
- Construction of two steel truss crossing structures over Sungai Air Molek and Sungai Melaka (Sungai Duyong)
- Permanent interconnection works between the new 800mm MSCL pipeline and the existing 500mm MSCL pipeline at two locations
- Execution of six pipe-jacking works to install pipelines across obstacles and utilities without open-cut excavation
Status Note
Body: This project was completed within the agreed timeframe and successfully commissioned. As of the time of writing, the defects liability period remains ongoing.
